Four Funerals and a Wedding

weddingThis murder mystery event is an adaptation of Fatal Focus, re-crafted to be staged at Wedding Receptions. The Bride and Groom are invited to play along with the fact that they have hired wedding video specialists “Life In Focus”, to attend and film their happy day. At an agreed time (after speeches etc) the crew of Life In Focus finally arrive at the wedding reception, when Bride and Groom are ready for the murder mystery event to begin. The Top Table are invited to play along with the hiring of the fictitious “Life In Focus”, and (angrily!) confront them as to why they didn’t attend earlier in the day to film the actual wedding service… But what was the real reason for the company missing the tying of the knot. Director Oliver Nash had obviously been eager that the event went without a hitch, however Oliver is not well liked, and there are those amongst his staff wishing to derail his success…

His wayward son resents being ruled by an iron will and acid tongue, but Oliver is not the only one despised, or with secrets to hide. Nancy Webb, Oliver’s fiancée, is now also working for the wedding video company. But what is behind the death of her sister? And who are the mysterious Ambrose Brothers? Not long into the Wedding Reception, five staff of Life In Focus find themselves suspects in a murder enquiry. Could the uneasy matter of a previous inheritance be behind the deadly events? And before the evening is over a new and sinister light is cast over the circumstances of a previous road traffic accident… A killer stalks the venue, cutting through the confetti and plotting the perfect murder…For their sights have been set on another victim – for whom, very shortly, the honeymoon period will be over…
